Recycling plants: an inspiration for unity

Yesterday, I went on a tour to a recycling station. Finally! I was able to see for myself what happens to the bits and pieces I put in my yellow lidded bin. As I watched a handful of patient workers skillfully and rapidly pulling out the random objects they found on the conveyor belts, I had some interesting insights.

The very act of recycling stroked me as being an act of unity: millions of people had consciously put certain objects in their yellow lidded bin in a concerted effort to reduce landfill and give our beloved blue planet a bit of a relief from the tons of goodies we constantly extract from her womb.

It gives me hope. It shows me that masses of people are willing to do something to attempt to make our world a better place. To achieve that, we had to put several systems in place, which have to continuously interact in a harmonious manner in order to achieve the common goal we all have in mind. Wow!

So despite our individualistic greedy tendency as a whole, we do care for something bigger than ourselves. That is what gives me hope.

In order to carry humanity forward towards a more harmonious future, we need to unite. Get out of our little safe boxes. We need to melt our barriers and open up to the possibility that if we unite and work together, rather than compete or step on top of each other, we may have a chance to make the world a happier place.

If we can do it with recycling, we can do it with many other things!

As I see it, this recycling station example is a grounded demonstration of what I have found in my experimental research project on Ultimate Happiness.

When I go deep, deep, deep, down within myself, all the way down to my essence, there comes a point where I dissolve myself into a very special place that I call the Fabric of Life. Just like a drop of water dissolves into the ocean. In that place, the only thing I feel is bliss, wellbeing, contentment and fulfillment. And hey, I’ve got to admit it, it really feels like the afterglow of the best orgasm I’ve ever had! That’s why I call it Ultimate Happiness.

After exploring the Fabric of Life for many hours every day for over a year and a half, I have come to be able to notice certain characteristics. A few weeks ago, I said to one of my clients: “The Fabric of Life is just like a recycling station: energy goes in, does something, and comes out again in another form.”

Whether we look at it from a spiritual perspective, a biological perspective, an energetic perspective, an ecological perspective, an economic perspective or from the point of view of the laws of physics, we’re all connected in more ways than we can count.

We’re all connected to the Fabric of Life. The only problem is that this connection has imperfections which are unique to each individual. That’s what can give us the impression of being an ‘individual’ which is separated from the rest of the world. If we were connected to the Fabric of Life without any glitches, we’d be constantly living in a state of orgasmic happiness! If you want to learn more about how the quality of our connection with the Fabric of Life affects our level of stress and happiness, it’s all detailed in my book: Beyond the Rollercoaster.

As I watched the tons of refuse on the conveyor belts going up and down through many intricate filtering and transforming machines, I experience the subtle feeling of euphoria I usually get when I spend time in the Fabric of Life. I could sense the unity in the minds and actions of millions of people wanting to do the right thing: make the world a better place.

And you know what? Everyone wins in this concerted effort. The recycling station apparently reports an annual profit of 5 to 15 million dollars. They make money out of our rubbish, we feel better about ourselves for having done the right thing, and our mother Earth is looking at us with a big loving smile. Even the government gets their share in taxes, which eventually are given back to us in infrastructure and services. Everyone wins when we unite. Isn’t that a beautiful thing?

Reflections on Life and Death

Over the last few days, I have been reflecting quite profoundly on the meaning of Life and Death. As I am still part of a research project conducted by the Institute for the Study of Peak States, which is separate but complementary from my own research on Ultimate Happiness, I am a guinea pig for an experiment that will happen within a very short time from the writing of this article.

I have volunteered for this experiment 16 months ago, and as I am the canary in the coal mine for this experiment, there is a risk of either being propelled into an even better peak state, or dying. Research on consciousness can help humanity on a global level but can be just as risky as the pioneers who discovered a new continent without knowing what was waiting for them. It is one of the ways that I chose to make a difference in the world. Hence why I am reflecting on Life and Death today. And here are my thoughts at the moment.

I used to fear Death more than anything in the world, but since I found myself on the portal of Death 14 months ago, my opinion of what Death and Life mean to me has completely changed. The realization and embodiment that the acceptance of Death is the prerequisite for the acceptance of Life has brought me an immense feeling of freedom. When I faced the portal of Death, which I now call the portal of Life, I understood that the purpose of our lives is to reconnect with our essence, hopefully before having to physically die so we can show other people how to do the same.

We cannot know what Life really is until we align ourselves fully with our Life Purpose every moment of every day. Acceptance of Death, and therefore Life, and everything in between, has drawn me to take full responsibility for myself and everything I do. It is a true state of connectedness where the ego is left behind and our essence is allowed to shine, and from there we can start to make a difference in the world.

In the moment where I totally and unconditionally accepted Death, I simultaneously accepted Life and found Ultimate Happiness. I realized that the only possible way to suffer is being separated from my essence, my Life Purpose. The only thing separating us from our essence is our ego, which is an accumulation of blockages and issues we identify with and feel like us, but are not us. I realized that the fear of Death is actually the fear of losing our ego, what we know ourselves as. All fears are fears of the ego. Our true self has no fear. In our essence, we do not fear anything. We accept everything with equal Joy.

On April 11, 2009, this is what has happened to me. I died without physically dying when I consciously and unconsciously decided from every fiber of my being to accept Death totally and unconditionally. And no, I was not suicidal and have never been. But I realized that fighting Death was in fact fighting the reconnection with my true self. So I let it happen, sitting on the beach on a beautiful Easter morning. This was the first day of my life. This is how I found Ultimate Happiness.

Here is what I feel now. It is only by letting go completely of my ego that I can reconnect with my essence. This means that I have to allow my ego to die in order to live. Of course, we want to be able to do that without having to die physically. This is my mission: show everyone how to find Life without having to die physically. This is the reason why I wrote my book, Beyond the Rollercoaster.

Over the last few days my reflections have brought me to accept Death as well as Life with equal Joy. I now know how to live in my essence, my soul, the part of me that is timeless and infinite. I have the absolute certainty that I will continue living my Life Purpose whether my body is physically alive or six-foot underground. There is no fear of anything anymore. Everything is possible from here, I can create my entire existence. This is a powerfully empowering place to be.

I am now fully accepting of what is, was and will be with equal peace and serenity. My body has very little importance in the big scheme of things, and I honor it as the vehicle that has giving me the opportunity to find the Ultimate Happiness I have been obsessively searching for over 26 years. No matter what happens today or in the new few years, I know that my essence lives on. I know WHO I AM at the core of my being. I know that I am eternal and infinite. And so are you.

A much needed update!

I apologize if I have been a little silent lately, I have put all my energy into finalizing the research and the content of my book. The result is quite fascinating! Even I am amazed of what came out of this project. A completely new model of the world that can lead every person on this planet to be as happy as we can be as well as making global unity a project rather than a dream.

I have sent my manuscript to the publisher for typesetting (the phase where the formatting is done as well as the picture put in), which is the last step before it goes to the printer. This means that my book should be available within about 2 months.

I have also just put up a brand new profile so you can have a better idea of who I am and what I want to bring to the world. This will give you a preview of the context in which my book is written.

Don’t forget to leave your name and e-mail so I can send you some updates every now and then and let you know when the book is going to be launched!

Let me know if you want to be part of this project as I can’t do it alone. I will soon open up some apprenticeship opportunities.

The Na’vi people of Pandora in Avatar must have read my book!

avatarsmDuring the New Year break I went to watch the new movie Avatar without any expectations. To be honest, the trailer didn’t grab me at all. It gave me the impression that this was going to be just another action movie. I went to see it mostly by lack of choice. I was completely blown away…

It turns out that it’s one of the most spiritual movies I’ve ever seen. After the Matrix, of course. Obviously, the special effects were fantastic, the movie flowed well from beginning to end, the script shows impressive research and depth of meaning, but what really got me is how well they present the essence of the Na’vi people.

The Na’vi are the indigenous population of the planet Pandora, being invaded by a technologically advanced group of humans, who, in 2154 still do what they’ve been doing for thousands of years: push the indigenous population out of the way to rape their native territory of its resources. It’s also mentioned that the human race had by that point wiped out pretty much all natural life forms on Earth, which was now a decaying planet. They have killed Mother Earth.

In contrast, the Na’vi people live in complete harmony with their own planet and all life forms on it. They respect Life. Not only do they respect it but they are One with Life. They communicate freely with other life forms and are aware that as much as they need to take from Life to survive, they also know when to give back Life to their All Mother, Eywa. Eywa is the source of all Life: past, present and future. It is the heartbeat of Pandora. Eywa is Life itself.

Even when they speak of themselves they speak of ‘The People’, as if the differences between the individuals of the group didn’t really matter. They always try to find the best solution that will be the most beneficial for the whole tribe. They are bonded to the collective consciousness of their tribe as well as to the collective consciousness of other life forms: they are One with other people, the trees, the animals and their sacred tree, the ‘Tree of Souls’, by which they communicate with Eywa.

The difference between the Na’vi people and modern society is that their connection with Life fulfills them completely. There’s nothing they desire or want that they don’t already have. The invading mining company unsuccessfully tries to find the ‘carrot’ that will convince them to move out of the way, but the Na’vi are already happy and fulfilled. They don’t need anything else than what they already have. They have the Life Connection state, which is one half of Ultimate Happiness.

I see Jake Sully’s story as the journey of his own ‘awakening’. As he learns from the Na’vi to reconnect with Life, his whole world is turned upside down. He realizes that the world he has always lived in is the fake world and the new world he’s just found is the real world. He has found the way out of the Collective Reality Trap, just like Neo in The Matrix. He has found Life.

In the state of Life Connection, the need to have or desire something you don’t have does not arise. You don’t do things because you need the outcome or the object, you do something because you chose to do it. And that choice is made in harmony with all Life, keeping everything into balance. It’s not about taking, it’s about sharing. It annihilates what I call the Bottomless Ogre, which is the part of you that’s not you, the one that keeps wanting something you don’t have yet. The part that’s never completely satisfied, that sooner or later wants more again. Happiness is always somewhere around the corner.

When you read my book you’ll notice many common concepts between Avatar and certain characteristics of the state of Ultimate Happiness, or the lack of it and the obstacles between you and happiness. The fact that the Na’vi are often seen at night, the fluorescent light of Eywa, the physical neural connection between species and to Eywa’s roots, the music in which you can sense the flow of Life, the bioluminescence of the plants, they are just so spot on.

Even some of the main characters clearly embody various concepts of my theory: the Colonel Quaritch represents very accurately the phenomenon that I call the Guard Dog, and the man in charge of the mining operation, Parker Selfridge, impersonates very well what I call the Bottomless Ogre. The mining company, its people and operation, is just about a perfect analogy of the Collective Reality Trap we live in. I could nearly swear they’ve read my book (even though that’s not possible because it’s not out in bookstores yet…)

You might think that my book is a colourful novel by now, but I assure you it’s not. I just like to use lots of parables and analogies to make certain concepts easier to undertsand. My theory is based on direct experience with the essence of Life through my own experimental research project, not on any other work, legends, myth or book. It’s not a coincidence. The Universe is talking to you via several means.

Avatar is definitely a movie I recommend seeing, and even if you’ve already seen it maybe you’ll see it in a new light with what you’ve just read. I’ve seen it twice already and planning to go a third time. I’ve read some blog comments where some people have already seen Avatar half a dozen times and more, in just over 3 weeks… If you are ready to hear that message, Avatar will make sense to you and you’ll be able to appreciate its philosophy well beyond the special effects or the story. Avatar is definitely a masterpiece. But even more than that, it’s a message of Life.

Is Ultimate Happiness more than having your glass half full?

We often see happiness as having your glass half full rather than half empty, having gratitude for what you’ve already got rather than seeing what you’re missing or could be having. What if Ultimate Happiness was more than that: total fulfilment, contentment, complete life satisfaction, so much that your glass would be full ALL the time? Our 7 steps Ultimate Happiness process can put you on the path of fulfilment, contentment and fullness in your life, where there’s nothing you want to add or remove from your life as you live in complete acceptance of what is.

Your Life Purpose: Ultimate Happiness

Here’s a new insight I had this morning while doing the ultimate happiness Reconnection Process:

Ultimate Happiness is the result of what happens when you find your Grace again and become one with your Life Purpose, when you come back Home and reconnect with Oneness.

It’s the purest expression of your unlimited potential and the ultimate contribution of your divine and sacred nature into the world.

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior

Yesterday I watched the movie “The Peaceful Warrior” and was quite surprised how it described quite nicely a handful of the myriad of components of the state of Ultimate Happiness, namely living in the present without thoughts constantly polluting your mind. It’s inspired by the real life story of a highly successful, attractive and talented young athlete, Dan Millman, who seems to have everything but who is still missing something to be fulfilled, and it keeps him awake at night. He meets a mentor who teaches him the way of the peaceful warrior: to empty his mind ‘take out the trash’, to let go of his ego and start living in the moment in unreasonable happiness.

Here’s an extract from Dan’s blog:

When Dan asks “So what do I do now? Where do I go from here?”

Soc replies “Who cares? . . . A fool is ‘happy’ when his cravings are satisfied. A warrior is happy without reason. That’s what makes happiness the ultimate discipline — above all else I have taught you. Happiness is not just something you feel. . . . Feelings change, Dan. Sometimes sorrow, sometimes joy. But beneath it all remember the innate perfection of your life unfolding. That is the secret of unreasonable happiness.”

Happiness is more than just pretending to be happy as is explained in that blog page, although it may be a good band-aid solution until you learn to make the necessary fundamental changes in your biology to really change your state. And he’s right by saying that happiness is not just someting you feel, because feelings change. The emotion of happiness has never made anyone happy. I particularly like the comment about beneath it all remember the innate perfection of your life unfolding. Ultimate Happiness happens when you can physically reconnect with that truth. Ultimate Happiness is a state which results from the physical reconnection of you with the innate perfection of life.

An interesting movie to watch if you like to watch a movie with a good message.

How the Biology of your Consciousness relates to your State

The state of your consciousness impacts directly how you feel in your body: happy, sad, uneasy, joyful, loving, resistant, accepting, angry, etc.

Your consciousness is directly linked to your physical and emotional state through the primary cell (see Peak States of Consciousness vol. 2 from Grant McFetridge PhD if you want to read the details – www.peakstates.com). Without going into details here, it’s important that you know there is a physical link between your consciousness and the way you feel, as much physically as emotionally, as well as the way you act and behave. All of this can be seen in the primary cell. It is the key to your unconscious. Although the techniques used here are related to the latest published research on consciousness from the Institute for the Study of Peak States, they are very different from the ones they use and have a different goal in mind.

So changes in the biology of your consciousness will impact directly and immediately on how you feel and behave. A life-long pattern can be gone immediately after it’s been changed in the primary cell as if it had never been there. Sometimes you even loose the memory of having had the problem in the first place.

So the quickest and most efficient way to change your state is to make some definite changes in your primary cell. This is an approach that does not involve psychology, mindfulness, meditation, affirmations or strong will. It just changes things on the deepest level of your subconscious, beyond any limitations you might perceive. And if you are guided to do the right changes the right way, you can get to taste states that would take you years and years to acquire otherwise, if at all!

The Ultimate Happiness program is a systematic process that guides you to make such changes in a gentle and progressive but extremely efficient manner so that you can change totally the way you feel within yourself, emotionally, physically and behaviourally.

The Ultimate Happiness program aims to systematically and progressively nurture within yourself a state that will give you access to the ultimate quality of life.

The Power of Acceptance vs Techniques used in Various Therapies

What is the most powerful healing or transformational technique or therapy currently existing? We could go on for a while on that one! It would be easy to elaborate on why and how this or that modality is more powerful than this other one. Each person would of course come up with a different opinion and a bunch of valid reasons giving great explanation about why they prefer a certain healing technique to another. But in the end, does the technique itself really make that much of a difference?

We often hear: mind over matter, the power of your intentions, you created that on some level, that must be some sort of self-sabotage, 95% of everything that you say, think or do comes from your unconscious mind, and so on. And I’m sure you have also heard of people who healed from a terminal illness by watching comedies and laughing all day or by taking placebo pills. So even though the healing technique used can have great benefits, we must recognise that there’s something going on on the unconscious level which can either create the illness, hang on to it or release it. This brings me to mention the most POWERFUL way to heal yourself, it’s so simple that we tend to dismiss it as soon as we hear it.

And that is acceptance. If you were in a state of total and unconditional acceptance of what is, it is quite conceivable that you may never feel fear again, you may never suffer again, you may never feel misery, helplessness, longing, heaviness, and craving or stress again. It’s the resistance to what is happening or to what has happened or what might happen that creates a blockage within you and between you and the flow of Life. The lack of acceptance of a past event can lead to carry resentment, suffering and emotional pain. And similarly, the lack of acceptance of the present leads to stress, agitation and frustration. And again, in a very similar way, the lack of acceptance of the future leads to anxiety, worry and fear. We resist what hasn’t even happened yet!

Most of what all therapies, healing or transformational techniques do is to help us to let go, to drop our resistances to the past, the present and the future. They help us release blockages or make us feel neutral towards something that was bothering us on either a physical, mental or emotional level. If we were constantly in a state of total and unconditional acceptance of what is, we would go without resistance in the flow of Life, not needing anything to be different from what it is, not resisting the facts and totally at peace with whatever life brings along. That does not mean that you should let yourself be abused or taken advantage of, it means that you accept the fact of what is happening now and take responsibility for the change. And whatever you can’t change, you can accept. The amazing thing is when you accept something totally and unconditionally, it stops bothering and often the change happens in a way that you didn’t expect.

So maybe the healing technique itself that is used is not as important as acceptance. I firmly believe that any therapy can catapult its results exponentially simply by adding acceptance. It doesn’t have to be complicated, simple is good! And simple works!

I teach techniques to live in total and unconditional acceptance of what is, and my clients say that the change is quick and amazingly powerful. I have seen unbelievable results, when someone may have tried a myriad of therapies to try to feel better, where tens of thousands of dollars sometimes had been invested in therapies and personal development with limited success, and within a couple of hours of work together suddenly their stress level had dropped by more than half, and sometimes nearly completely gone. They had found a new way of living: to be in their essence. The power of acceptance can eclipse just about any worry or stress on which you spent so much time and efforts every day that you thought was part of you, and make you realize that you have a choice. You can choose to be free. And it may be simpler than you think. Keep looking at this blog and you will see more and more resources that will be useful to you.
